2020 SDGA Father & Child

Terms of the Competition
ENTRY FEE
The entry fee is $110 per team ($55 for each additional child). This includes one round of golf, lunch, prizes, and awards (carts and range are not included).
ELIGIBILITY
This championship is limited to teams comprised of at least one player who enjoys membership privileges at a club belonging to the SDGA or has joined the SDGA as a 2020 Associate Member.

Membership: Players must be a member of the SDGA, by (1) belonging to an SDGA member club or (2) joining as a 2020 SDGA Associate Member ($100 fee).

Age: There are no age restrictions.

Relationship: A team can include a father/son, father/daughter, grandfather/grandson, or grandfather/granddaughter.
Note: A father can compete on up to three teams ($55 for each additional child).
FIELD SIZE AND WAIT LIST
The field is limited to the first 50 players to apply. After the field limit is reached, players will be placed on a wait list in order by their time of registration.
ENTRIES, DEADLINE, AND REFUND POLICY

Entries: An entry must be submitted online with payment prior to the deadline. Late entries will not be accepted, regardless of reason.

Deadline: The deadline to submit entries is Tuesday, June 16, 2020, at 5:00pm.

Refund Policy: The entry fee, less a $20 service fee, will be refunded if a team withdraws 24 hours prior to the start of the event.
FORMAT AND DIVISIONS
The format is 18 holes of two-person scramble. There are two divisions, which a team must select during registration: scratch or handicap (Calloway). Males shall play from the Men’s Tees and Females shall play from the Ladies Tees.
RULES
All play will be governed by the USGA Rules of Golf. Players will be provided a "Notice to Players" rules sheet containing local rules and conditions. The SDGA will have volunteer Rules Officials on the course to provide rulings and answer questions.

GOLF CARTS
The golf cart rental fee is $20 per player, payable in the pro shop (cash or credit).
RANGE
The range ball fee is $5 per bucket.
AWARDS
Trophies will be awarded to the winners.
PLAYER LUNCH
Players are provided a complimentary lunch starting one hour prior to the shotgun start (12:00pm).
FOOD & BEVERAGE
The club's restaurant hours and methods of payment TBD.
