TERMS OF THE COMPETITION
ELIGIBILITY
This championship is open to teams consisting of two male amateur golfers who meet the following requirements:

Membership: Players must hold an active USGA/GHIN Handicap Index at a 2026 SDGA Member Club or be a member of the NYSGA eClub - Central NY (Counties: Onondaga, Cortland, Cayuga, Madison, Oswego, Oneida, Seneca, Tompkins, and Wayne County east of Route 14 ). NYSGA eClub - Watertown (Counties: Jefferson & Lewis). NYSGA eClub - Adirondacks (Counties: St. Lawrence).

Age: Players must be at least 14 years of age as of May 2, 2026.

USGA Handicap Index: Players must have an active USGA Handicap Index of 8.4 or less.
FIELD SIZE AND WAIT LIST
- Field Size: 40 Teams
- Determining Field & Waitlist Procedure: Registration for this Championship is NOT on a first come, first served basis. The field is selected "low-to-high", based on the teams' combined Handicap Index as of the entry close date. Each team's entry will be added to the Championship's pending registration field and their credit card will not be charged. When entries close on April 27th, each team's combined Handicap Index will be calculated and ordered from low-to-high. Approved teams will immediately receive an email confirmation confirming their spot in the Championship.
- Waitlisted Teams: Any team that that does not earn a spot in the field will be placed on a waitlist ordered by their combined Handicap Index and notified of their status and order by email.
ENTRIES, DEADLINE, AND REFUND POLICY

Entries: An entry must be submitted online with payment prior to the deadline. Late entries will not be accepted, regardless of reason.

Entry Fee: $350 per team. This includes all green fees, carts, lunch on Sunday, prizes and awards.

Deadline: Entries must be received prior to the deadline (12PM EST on Monday, April 27, 2026). Late entries will not be accepted, regardless of reason.

Refund Policy:

Withdrawal PRIOR TO entry deadline: Entry fee less $20

Withdrawal AFTER entry deadline: Entry fee less $50

Withdrawal WITHIN 2 DAYS of the competition: No Refund

SUBSTITUTIONS
All substitutions must be made by contacting Jack Corcoran (jcorcoran@nysga.org) with the following policies in place:
- Before Entry Deadline: A player may add a new partner at any time prior to the close of entries.
- After Entry Deadline: If a team is in the field for the Championship and then requires a partner change, they are permitted to do so as long as the team's combined Handicap Index remains at or below the established low-to-high cutoff at the time entries closed.
FORMAT
The format is 36 holes of best-ball (referred to as four-ball under the Rules of Golf).
RULES
All play will be governed by the USGA Rules of Golf. Players will be provided a "Notice to Players" containing local rules and conditions. The SDGA will provide access to a certified USGA Rules official to provide rulings and answer questions.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
- Saturday May 2 - Radisson Greens // Round 1 // Tee times: 10:00am - 1:00pm
- Sunday, May 3 - Shenendoah // Round 2 // Tee times: 11:00am - 2:00pm
TEE TIME REQUESTS
The SDGA will make every effort to accommodate tee time requests, which must be submitted no later than 12PM on Monday, April 27th (click here). Pairing requests will not be accepted.
FOOD & BEVERAGE
A complimentary lunch will be served at the halfway house either at the turn or after the round following play on Sunday May 3rd.
GOLF CARTS
Golf carts are included in the entry fee, players are required to ride.
RANGE
- Radisson Greens: Pay for balls in pro shop
- Shenendoah: Range balls included
AWARDS
Trophies will be awarded to the winning team. Prizes will be awarded to top finishers
